"Secretary of State Colin Powell said Tuesday that President Bush will place a high priority in his second term on granting legal status to millions of migrants who live illegally in the United States.........."

What? They break the law and Bush rewards them with legal status! Didn't Dubya swear to uphold the law of the United States when he was sworn in?

Where are all the Dubya lovers on this issue? Sounds to me like it's grounds for impeachment.

I'm not a "Dubya lover", but I voted for him. I feel that this is a terrible mistake and an awful political move just to placate Vincente Fox.

Does this mean that after we make all of these criminals legal, we are going to start enforcing the law at the borders? I don't think so.

Ithaca, I voted for the lesser of two evils (in my opinion), but I'm not going to throw out the baby with the bath water...just yet!

I hear ya on this one. Dubya will have a hard time pushing this through a republican congress.
I got an idea, all of these "undocumented" residents can apply for legal status, but the applacation must be submitted in their home country, and they have to wait there for the reply. I wonder what Mr. Fox would think of that ?

I posted this last week.. [Bush sucks on immigration] To bad these idiots in washington just don`t get it....they talk about outsourcing jobs...then they turn around and INSOURCE labor...by allowing millions of illegals in this country..I hope we can stop Bush on this one..
