Also, Wood is that impregnated outside wood. I was Hoping it was worth the money for the Weather proofing ?

I've never used the impregnated wood, but it almost has to be better than having to douse the swing down with water seal every year. That stuff is tacky and makes your slide suck if you get any on it, and will catch every mote of dust or dirt and make the plastic parts look grimy.
