My friend who owns the farm I hunt in Va lost one of his good friends yesterday , just wondering if anyone has heard about the crash ? I think is Co.

Thanks Shoots, That's him. Was supposed to meet him at a pig roost in Denver next month. Very said . I got a call to add him to prayer chain. Then I get a call his plain was found.

Sorry to hear about your friend's friend. The Grumman Goose is a cool old plane, WWII era.

I meeting with another of his friends tomorrow at a Rev war re-enactment in Va, Two of his close friends one who has his own plane also.
I guess I'll learn more about Mike tomorrow.
Thanks

I'm a pilot also, and sounded like the weather that they flew into had not been forecasted. It makes you realize how fast things can happen when you are up in the air. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and their families.

The weather was forecast the day before to expect 4-6" of snow. I drove over the pass about six hours before the plane went down, it was snowing then. There is a 24 hour camera on Lost Trail Pass that shows weather conditions on the net.

Sorry for your loss. From what the paper said it sounds like he went down trying to minimize danger from the crash.
