Thought I would share a couple of scenery-type pictures I took last week while vacationing in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The first two are from an area known as the Cathedral Spires which is along the Needles Highway. We hiked into the middle of this area and have to say it is pretty awesome

These next pictures were from our hike up to Harney Peak which is the highest point between the Rocky Mountains and the Swiss Alps. Awesome 360 degree views on a clear day, including the backside of Mt. Rushmore.

Arent as many there as one thinks i turkey hunt this area a lot and it is about 75 to 80percent whitetails

I would LOVE to hunt whitetails there. Very neat looking country. Looks like a fire is inevitable. Thanks for sharing the pics.
 
Looking at pics like that lets me know that I have to cross the Mississippi River one of these days (unwork related) to hunt, fish, or just hike. That is some beautiful scenery/country ! Thanks for sharing!
