Having recently had a hip replaced I feel like it’s time to upgrade my trek game. I’ve been using a single stick for a few years and appreciate what it has done for me.
So, I see these have a cable tether. My question is, are these solid when assembled? If stuck into a muddy bank am I going to pull them apart because of the suction? I’ve got experience with folding sticks that rely on shock cord, and I’m not interested in repeating that. In addition can these be used as either a monopod or bipod? My single stick has a V attachment that I’ve come to really appreciate for a quick rest.
If you know of a better solution I’m open to suggestions.
