Pandemic effects on hunter demand

So we have seen significant increases in application numbers in multiple states for 2020 and 2021. Will there be a reset or reduction in the future once things get back to dare I say " normal" or is this the new norm with 10''s of thousands more apps each year? With the Canadian border being closed the option of not hunting Canada is also putting more apps in for the states. Will that ease app numbers once the Canadian borders open? Hoping things don't continue down this path.

Well it’s bitter sweet but I hope the trend continues more sportsman’s means more advocates. Don’t get mad over new hunters we need them.
