Over-Hyped

They looked pretty good in the first half. Thought they were going to give it away in the second.

Congrats to both the long time Cards fans and the wagon jumpers. :D:D:D

Fitzgerald is a stud. Definitely looked like he could even take more "hype".....

Warner reminded me why I don't like to listen to him talk when he spent the first minute talking about how much God and Jesus Christ his Savior wanted him to win the game.

I dont know, I kind of agree with Jose...how about stick to the subject at hand.

I wouldnt ask a priest about a football game...and I dont need a quarterback giving me a sermon.

I think the fact the Cards are going to the SB pretty much proves there is in fact a higher power, and is name aint Bidwell. LOL

Gee, my newfangled HDTV has remote volume and program selection features...but I guess some people are powerless to withstand the mesmerizing effects of the always profound 'player interview'.

...damn, hate I missed Warner's 'sermon'.

Congrats to Cardinal fans, and Christians everywhere.

If God really cared about watching football today, and wanted to look over a player, I hope that he chose Willis McGhee and not Warner.

he has movement in all his limbs. bring kept in the hospital for observation. said he's sore. imagine that after that hit. had to be one of the hardest hitting games I've seen in a while.

I hadn't really watched Fitzgerald play until the last two weekends. He can definitely play football!!

I get the same feeling when I hear a simpering movie star gushing about Obama.

I just got back to Alaska. Flew down to AZ to go to the game with my brother. Wow! Just Wow! The atmosphere, noise, jubilation was incredible. I have been to close to 100 concerts in my days, and for pure noise, this one rivaled some of those concerts. At one point my brother and I were screaming at each other and we still couldn't hear each other very well. People I had never met in my life suddenly became my new best friends. When the game ended, everyone was high fiving, hugging strangers and there were quite a few tears shed, as well. You have to understand that for a long time, the valley only had the Suns. We were begging for a team. We got the Cardinals. And we suffered, year after year after year. There were faint glimmers of hope, like when Jake Plummer lead us to a playoff win over the Cowboys. But all in all, its been a pretty dismal 21 years.

As for Warner, it didn't bother me at all. I thought it was funny how he prefaced his statement with, "I know you're probably tired of hearing this, but...."

As a side note, I have to give a huge thumbs up to the Philly fans that were at the game. Very classy. No trash talking, even when they made their big comeback. There were a couple sitting in front of us and after the game, we all shook hands. We thanked them for a great game and they wished the Cards luck in the Super Bowl. I thought that was cool.
