Our Wilderness 4th

Have been busy, building a new home. Little over 3,000 sf. Took the week end off for a remote camp trip. Kids and grand kids!
First thing, a load up fail.


Off we go to scout new country.


Found ourselves in mountain country.

Alaska now is hot and dry. Its happened before. Lighting strikes, cause Fires, turn the sky to orange/brown with smoke. Humans are so insignificant, in the ways of this planet.

Hard to see, nine RAMS UP THERE!



In the 80's, very hot by AK standards. Glacier river cools thing down.

Found lot of fossils. Shellfish, clams, and a number of these

Very nice! May have even seen you heading out. Saw what sure looked like your rigs one day and swiveled my head to look again but traffic was a bit rough. We did the 4th in Glacier View at the car launch. Redneck Alaska for sure! Looks like you stayed cooler than we did with the water there. Nice place to go! Jealous!
