Terrible news, I see those rams about once a month when driving to Seattle to visit my Dad. Here is a few pics of them. They are always on the same hillside.......were always on the same hillside.

Another ram poached in Oregon near the prior 2 rams poached just a couple or weeks prior. Rot. In. Hell. Poachers. If a state issues tags for 5% of rams then just those 3 poached rams represent the annual tags issued from a herd of 120 bighorn sheep.

It's a 7 year old case so hopefully they're done collecting evidence now. Jon Burgundy may have filed a follow up on it since the original story broke. Check duck duck go and let us know. My search capabilities are limited here

this is old thread, luckily I haven't heard of other Oregon bighorn poaching lately, though there is deer and elk poaching going on and not much true law enforcement going on around here..
