anybody watching that? The 16 year old that made finals in the men’s 400m.. wow!
He’s a tiny boy. If he grows a little - who knows what he could do. pretty crazy. The guy who won couldn’t beat the kid at checkers.

Yea, that’s impressive. Hope he makes it. Those other guys are gonna really sweat bullets in four years if he stays healthy and keeps training it would seem. Here’s the video link.

Trials: Quincy Wilson breaks U18 record, moves to 400m final

Quincy Wilson, 16, broke the under-18 world record in the 400m for the second time, placing fourth in the semifinal and advancing to the final with a time of 44.59 behind Quincy Hall, Bryce Deadmon and Vernon Norwood.

I have watched a ton. His performance was unreal. 400 is a man’s race, for a 16 year old kid to hang is crazy.

...and I just told my wife the TV was hers after watching hockey and basketball playoffs for the last two months.
Shoot, nothing better than Olympics.

Wow. Unreal stuff. I don’t think people appreciate just how hard it is to even qualify for an Olympic Trials. Insane.

There was another 16-year-old at the Trials. Elizabeth Leachman, from Boerne TX, ran in the 5K. It’s an unthinkable accomplishment for a high school sophomore. A lot of bright future ahead for these two runners
