Anybody but me wondering what a DirecTV rep was doing at OJ's house during a drug raid?Miami-AP -- DirecTV is accusing O-J Simpson of pirating T-V signals.
A civil lawsuit seeks at least 20-thousand dollars and attorneys fees, saying Simpson had two "bootloader" piracy devices in his Miami home.
Simpson's house was searched as part of a drug investigation in 2001. No charges against Simpson were filed, but the lawsuit says a DirecTV representative found the devices during the search.
A DirecTV spokesman didn't have specific information about the Simpson lawsuit, but says the company is aggressive when it comes to "signal thieves."
Simpson's lawyer was unavailable for comment.
A "bootloader" device is used to repair a damaged satellite T-V card once it has been "zapped" in routine security sweeps of the satellite T-V system.
