Anyone else watch the Alberta oil sand segment last night?

Guess everyone else was watching the football game. Like the Sierra Club lady said, "outta sight, outta mind". Strip mining Canada for our gas is far more preferable and enviromentaly sound than opening up ANWR.

Actually I caught the last few minutes, but was putting together comments to the FWP 2006 Proposals. Are you inkling this is an ANWR vs Canadian strip mine development issue?

If we continue to use oil and gasoline products, it's got to come from somewhere doesn't it? Block it in ANWR, it will come from somewhere else, and the enviromental impact may be worse. But that's in Canada anyway, right? They don't have any game animals that might suffer from our oil addiction.

Thanks Marv. You see the citified 60 minutes dweeb with the brand new pair of leather gloves and hard hat? Most Americans are clueless about where everything (like energy, food, building products, clothes, ect) come from. Bet this was an eye openner for most who watched it.
