We ran up to Henderson harbor late Thursday night. Got to camp and got the boat around by about 2am Friday the headed out trolling Friday morning by 6. We ended Friday with 95 keeper perch and some pickerel. Sat morning leaving the harbor the wind was blowing good and we noticed none of the charters were even going out "small craft advisory that afternoon ". Well, we set our lines and headed north towards Chaumont Bay trolling Smithwicks at 1.8mph and picked up a 28'' walleye, by 11am we were taking waves over the bow of the 20' skeeter and an occasional one over the windshield. That was enough of that and back to the harbor we went. 34 more nice perch there then off to winterize the cabin. We packed up and came home Sunday morning with 129 perch and a walleye. Not a bad trip all in all.
