The double tap is a wise move. If he had charged from 30 yards you may not have been able to reach your bear spray.

I figured a .300 RUM would make a bigger hole than that.
I have neighbors. Contrary, I am pretty considerate. Plus component are tough. mtmuley
At that range you might have needed a shower if you had used the big medicine.
