North Nevada Game Populations ?

Odd question. I drove from Salt Lake City on interstate 80 through Wendover Nevada up to Twin Falls Idaho and I saw a grand total of about six antelope. Zero deer. It seems like prime habitat? What's with the lack of animals?

Thats all winter range for deer.

Pronghorn just happen to be where they are.
