Put a paw up if interested. A long time friend from OK and I plan on doing this next year. I also plan to put in for goat and bear, but would likely plan additional logistics to make this work if drawn.

Only put your name down if very serious. Would like to avoid the long list that quickly trickles down to a handful prior to the hunt.

Ovis, I might be very serious depending on the time of year and what kind of trip you have planned. It would need to be in late Oct. and I'd need to know if you're doing ot DIY or with a transporter.

Wyo, not Ovis, but...there are several goat hunts on Kodiak. The odds for last year's drawings are on the last page of this years hunt supplement.

Hey, I never said I was going with the crowd. I just asked who was serious.

Wyo, check out this link. You can plug whatever species you want into the "machine" and filter as you deem necessary. It can give you horn size, success rate, dates of kills, etc. A nice tool at your fingertips.

Sounds interesting, I maybe into it just to hunt some blacktail. Just depends on the logistics.

Jose...I get back from Iraq around the first of September...I'm thinking Oct.

TB I think most here will agree to let you store it and load it on your buddy's crab boat that you can swindle a really good deal on for us (and you).

He's a friend of a friend and doesn't have a transporter license. I do know another fisherman who has a transporter license and does hunts on the southend in November. He's a great guy, I'll see how much he charges. I think most of his hunters are repeats and word of mouth though so he may be full. I think he does 3 weeks of hunts then has his friends from town fly down for a week of filling the freezers. I was invited the past 2 falls but could get the time off of work to go. This year I really don't need the meat.
