Thank you to Big Fin and all the hunters on this forum for the advice and insight! I was fortunate enough to harvest him during a New Mexico muzzleloader hunt in early October. DIY hunt on public land. 45 yards, morning hunt, got into position without his cows seeing us luckily. He buggled right before I shot him. The day before (opening day) I had a misfire (primer went off but not the powder) on a giant but it made for a great conclusion to get on our bull. Absolutely amazing hunt! Special thanks to Mike, my brother-in-law Danny, Jack and Israel. We were blessed to hunt in beautiful public land country! Good luck to everyone else!
