There's a couple less after this weekend. Got on a decent little ranch with a few antelope running around and some really great landowners that invited us in for dinner. Was hunting with a friend that hadn't killed an antelope before so we tried to pick him out a good representative animal. I think we succeeded. ;)

I was just after sloppy seconds at that point and though there were a few freaky bucks running around that had great character, they were just a tad too young and all my wishing and hoping just wasn't adding any mass to their horns. Hopefully I can get back in there next year to see how they look. Finally decided on this buck but he sure ran me around several pastures many times over. Even tried Ol' Bessie as a decoy to close some distance but he wasn't having it. After a lot of frustration and a sleepless night, he was finally ready to pose for a mediocre picture or two.

Antelope sure are fun to chase.

Great bucks and sounds like you may be set up for some good ones in the future.

Very nice, Spitz! Congrats! Ol' Bessie didn't pull it off this round, eh?

Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.

Nice buck!
Congratulations man. Great way to start your season.

So a Zeiss is why you sold the Swaro.

You look like a Uturd in Kings Camo:D You should upgrade that.

If I came anetlope hunting with you, would you let me shoot the bigger buck?
