Nice little Cactus Buck

My dad tied the Knot on this little Gem. Not a beast but one of a kind and he couldn't be happier. I was so glad to be able to get him on this buck and share the moment with him. I'll never forget how happy he was and it reminds my why I love to hunt. I love it because of spending time with him.

With the corn still up and 96 degree temps we still managed to find one buck roaming the sage. Nice little 19 x 19 point Cactus buck.

Most areas I would call him a beast but there are some serious brutes out where we were.

Yeah he did have two very petite marble sized testicles. Although they were in separate sacks about three inches apart

This is the buck last year at this time. Its hard to see but you can tell he grew quite a bit. Nice part was how healthy and fat the buck was. He had roughly an inch of pure back fat across his entire back strap and upper ribs. Of coarse rut hasn't hit yet though.
