Well, my 25-7PRC build is about ready to come home so I'm back on my quarterbore bulls#!t with a new build in the works. This one will be a 25PRC built using:
Any thoughts on my components combination? Anyone messed around with wildcats using neck bushings and any lessons you've learned that I should know before I start tinkering?
- Tikka T3x action (naturally), factory cerakoted burnt bronze;
- 20" Sendero-contour, 1:7 twist Carbon Six barrel;
- Pure Precision Altitude stock in Alpine Camo;
- Pure Precision Tikka bottom metal;
- Mountain Tactical billet magazines;
- Talley Lightweight direct-mount rings;
- Hornady 6.5 PRC Match Grade dies;
- Hornady Match Grade die bushing (somewhere between .284 and .287 dia.);
- ADG 6.5 PRC brass;
- Some combination of 95gr./127gr. Hammer HHTs and 134gr. Hornady ELD-Ms; and
- Probably topped with a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42 or Trijicon Credo 2.5-15x42. Already have the Credo on a similar setup but haven't shot it yet.
