New Year's Eve

This year has been a blur. Wife and I are doing what we enjoy most these days....spending the evening with our grandaughter while her parents enjoy a night out of town. She and Nana are doing the nite nite ritual in our bed and I will eventually wander off to the den and doze off on the sofa watching some boring bowl game. Here's wishing all you HT'ers a safe, happy evening, and a prosperous and healthy New Year.

I spent the last day of late antelope season out with my 7 year old. Not really hunting, but getting him to see antelope, but shooting one would have been a plus. Didn't shoot one, but he got excited seeing several on private property. Came home and grilled some burgers and me and my son made some cookies. The good times, I tell ya. Be safe everyone and here's to a hell of a 2014.

Me and my brothers in arms played poker last night. At midnight, we had a football covered in chem-lights that we did the countdown ball drop with. Then we continued playing poker until about 4 AM. Finally, we started the new year with an early morning short mission………all before the New Year even hit the states. Now it's time for a nap. Happy 2014 to everyone!
