Welcome to Montana, I grew up in that area! amazing hunting around there. You can be hunting elk in less than a half hour and hunting whitetail in less than a hour. Mule deer will be a bit tougher to get to. if you want some ideas where to start looking for animals just PM me.

I lived in Butte, in a previous life! LOL! There are some great Elk spots just south of Anaconda ie "California Creek" All public land in that area!
