New Sitka Ascent Pants XL - $95

Okay, I got trigger happy on camofire again and bought an extra pair of Sitka Ascent pants in optifade right before they ran a sale on the new Core4Element stuff and I've decided I'm not going to keep the extra pair of Sitka pants.

They are in Optifade Open Country and are a 2009 version but they are brand new with suspenders.

I'm just looking to recoup my cost and pass on a good deal to someone else.

Yeah I got my Core4 Element pants and jacket the other day and I really like the way they fit and style. Seems like they put a lot of thought into the design of it all. I'm keeping and eye out for they next deal.

Well I'd take you up on that deal but I don't have any other optifade camo or sitka gear for that matter. Good luck selling.

core4 element pants are on. Anyone have these...is size chart accurate...33-34 waist for large seems off kilter.

Kendall just posted on their forum thingy that he changed up the sizing chart since last week.

I wanted to tell everyone that I adjusted the sizing chart a bit since last week. We had a few guys that were on the fence with size 34 waist that had ordered Large pants when they in fact needed XL. Same went for the jacket. IF you find yourself on the fence, size up. That’s my $.02.

I hope the XL jacket I bought last week fits, I generally wear an XXL jacket, but based on last weeks sizing chart I ordered an XL.

I've got a few questions on the sizing on these and was just assuming that there were plenty of sizing charts out on the internet, but I've had trouble finding them for the older pants.

One that I did find showed 36-38 for Large and 40-42 for XL which doesn't quite match up with my personal experience on these.

I'm keeping one pair of Ascent pants in XL and I typically wear a size 36 in jeans and a size 38 in dress pants. I wouldn't want to go any smaller than XL from a fit on the thighs and the waist is a little big for me, but they do come with suspenders and belt loops so you can wear a belt if you need too. I personally wear a belt with mine.

These are regularly priced at $149.99. I bought them on camofire for $79.98 + $6.99 shipping. That gets me to $87 and I'm estimating shipping at $8 in the lower 48 to get to $95. I'm not making anything on this other than I won't have to pay return shipping on them going back to camofire. This is a great deal for someone looking for some Sitka gear.
