NEW LAW TO PROVE HUNTING AND FISHING RESIDENCY

CHEYENNE – Hunters and anglers are alerted that when buying 2005 licenses over the counter, a current or past year’s license can no longer be accepted as proof of residency.
The new law allows license buyers to either present a Wyoming driver’s license, Wyoming identification card or fill out an affidavit of years lived in Wyoming to prove residency.
The change was passed by the 2004 legislature with the intent it would reduce residency fraud.
