new (ish) archery hunter here to learn in North Idaho

Howdy all. Im a bit of an Elk hunting NUT. I live in North Idaho and spend as much time as a guy with a young family and two jobs can. Former Marine and current National Guard. Hunt 90% solo up here in the panhandle of Idaho. Definitely not opposed to hunting with someone new, just be forewarned I like steep and deep! Hope to learn as much as I can. Ive been hunting rifle since I was 14 and picked up a bow about 4 seasons ago. Have come very close many times but have never connected with archery tackle, but have killed several bulls and bucks with a rifle.

I drew non res archery tag for 52a for 2022. Do you or anyone else on the thread have any info on this hunt unit. Thanks fellas
