As stated I am from Texas and no we don't have a lot of Public Land But we have a lot of Public hunters. I started hunting in 1959 with my Dad got into Bow hunting in 1976 and still can't get enough. Only hunted N.M., Colo., and N.D. once each life seemed to get in the way a lot. However Tx. has some of all styles and types of landscape to hunt and I've done my best to try them all. Now is Bucket list time and this seems to be the best place for information and fellowship.

Just joined today as well.. looking forward to some new people with new opinions. Been hunting big game for 30+ years and recently had a falling out with my best hunting partner.

Welcome, I'm pretty new here too. Lived in TX for 12 years and miss it at times. Tough to find places to hunt there.
