I bought a base Savage Axis 30-06, put in a new Timney Trigger, added a picatinny rail, and added a Boyd's walnut stock. Never fired, never in the field, no box. I was planning on re-barreling to 24" 25-06 and bought a ER Shaw kit with barrel, go/nogo gauges and action wrench. Didn't get around to it. The individual parts online ($250 axis, $250 stock, $135 trigger, $200 barrel kit, rail $35) run $870. I will ship the whole setup to your FFL in the lower 48 for $500 $450 $399.

I was thinking the same thing lol. My wife can only take so many, "But it's a really good deal . . ." conversations before she stops believing me lol.
I'm not sure she ever believed my gun rationalizations... Rather she tolerates... And for my own bug eye firearm / archery preservation, I must maintain a conservative outlook.

Did I say I have first dibs if the person falls off the earth? 😉

Yup, Sykes is next in the PM queue. Amazing was a price drop does for buyer interest. . . .
