Ned Ledoux in Billings

Would love to see him
25 bucks in a cool standing room only venue, not a bad place to watch someone preform, several hundred people and you can generally get a close as ya want , and short beer lines unlike Kenny C up at Bozeman!

Saw Corb Lund there in April

Saw Ned's dad Chris play a small room in Redding at the Win River Casino back before online ticket sales 94-95?. First saw him in the Kibbie Dome at the University of Idaho in 1993 I think. What a difference in shows!

My cousin's husband went on an annual pronghorn hunt in Kaycee Wyoming. He told me one day the rancher said his son in law might join them for breakfast in the diner. Well in walked Chris (the son-in-law). When he told me the story I was insanely jealous. I mean Al never knew who Chris was until then. I remember reading about him in Western Horseman in the 80's. When Al died last year, my cousin gave me the album cover of Thirty Dollar Cowboy signed by Chris. She also offered me a couple 11 inch bucks he had shoulder mounted but I declined those.

If you watch the video of Ned Ledoux's Brother Highway, you will see the road I live on as he heads south from a festival called Country Summer, he played in Santa Rosa. (it was quite out of the way) I recognize many of my neighbors' houses and driveways in it....

Looks like a good time. I see KW is still banging drums. That man’s been with the family a long time

Ya , Ned talked about growing up playing the drums with KC before a song. Gave him a special intro, I believe I recorded it , I’ll see if I can post it

Small world shit, was at the same show as @2rocky back in the mid 90’s. Had just moved to Redding and my cousin (who worked in Win Rivers law office) scored me a couple of tickets to see Chris.

… now fast forward a “few” years gonna see Ned Friday night in Redmond OR

Ned delivered; good mix of his music, including new from the album just released, with a healthy dose of his dad’s mixed in. Great little venue to watch a concert, basically just a small town bull riding arena. Cold beer at a reasonable price, food trucks, and great views of Smith Rock, the Buttes, and Crooked River in the background. Not a bad seat in the place 👍🏻

They even provided a little rodeo entertainment halfway through the show with a cutting horse/calf sorting event. $30k up for grabs through the weekend!2D449A23-8B46-495F-9D1E-540A544F33F8.jpegD439B338-8912-4A57-BCF7-EF08D61042D4.jpeg0AE0F290-F8A9-407C-8E96-C58B9EFB7FC7.jpegBFC4C3D1-9C3D-40C8-82D3-5A2A981D54CE.jpegB888E463-AFEC-4F41-B3DF-CEEB0B8EC8CE.jpeg

Chris Ledoux’s Cadillac Ranch is the line of demarcation where country music went from being good and genuine to fake processed plastic Nashville garbage.

Somebody needs to line up a Hunt Talk Wyoming Wilderness Hunt with Ned for Late September/Early October 2023. My country is 5 hours from him. Anyone closer?
