My New Super Grade

Got my new set up all put together and ready to shoot. The rifle: Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Stainless .264 Win. mag., arrived last week, the scope: Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x 44 mm Fire Dot Duplex, arrived yesterday.

Thanks so much everyone! Sighted in @ 100 yards today, cleaning the barrel after each of the first 5 shots. Last 3 shots were touching, it is a shooter! Recoil not bad at all either.

My .325 wsm is/was a super grade, not a ss. Bought a laminated stock so I don’t bugger up the nice one. Shoots a 3 shot cloverleaf w/ 200 partitions. Not bad for a medium bore.

I recently got the same rifle. I went with a Swor z3 3x10x40. Conetrol mounts are on the way. I replaced the trigger spring with an Earnie’s the gunsmith spring. I can’t wait to give mine a try.

Iv'e tried them and don't really care for them, the are ok, I 'm just accustomed to the Butler Creek I guess.
