Hey Folks,
My name is Ryan, I'm in my mid 30's and I just started hunting within the last few years. I have been an avid cook, and backpacker for several years now, so my comfort zone in hunting is after the animal hits the ground. I took my first deer ever this year with archery equipment on my own property from a saddle. It was an awesome experience that I will always be thankful for.
I look forward to doing more public land hunting, but I have yet to be successful at it. I joined the forum in hopes of gaining some extra knowledge that might change that. I also had an interest in sharing my experiences as a late arrival to hunting in the hopes of easing others into the discipline.
Look forward to talking to you,
Ryan
