Well, 27 days in the field, something has to give. How about a nice bear at 20 yards....nope...left the bow at home. Got him with the ol' 300RUM at 20 yards...it worked well. I was a little disappointed...Wednesday I saw a stud, had my bow with me and last saw him at 400 yards...never saw him again. I grab the gun tonight...20 yards...go figure!

Nice bear brandon, like the face color on that bugger!

Tonight was a good night to be out, bears friggin everywhere. I saw three in a matter of 15 minutes. Then Bart saw two more a few miles away within a half hour of when i saw them.

Congrats.

First pic I have ever seen of you killing something with gunpowder and lead. Congrats!

I am mad about that Randy...I had him plenty close to use the Stick and string! I will use anything they let me use to hunt with...Like Uncle Ted says, "Hell, I would use hand grenades if they would let me!"

Nice bear Branden. I tried for an easy one and ended up seeing 2 in a not so easy spot at 9 o clock. Oh well it was fun getting out finally. Maybe this week I can find some after work time.

Here are a few more pics from this year...Thanks to my buddy Matt for helping packout my bear...had some fun with buddies this year hunting...lot of hunting alone too....took my son out 5 times too...

Good looking bear!
Looks like a great season all the way around.

Those ram heads are a pretty sad sight for sure, last year it was double that when i was in there............they weren't all canyon rams though from what they told me.
