My best friend's first deer, ever! WI Whitetail

Saturday night I was lucky enough to be able to guide my college buddy on an archery whitetail hunt on public land in Wisconsin. He had never shot a deer before, and we were honored to see this beautiful 10pt walk out 20 minutes prior to shooting ended!

He placed a perfect 40 yard shot on it, and it only ran 60 yards before crashing.

A few short hours later we were finished processing, and the backstraps tasted fantastic straight from the deer to the grill.

What brand of ladder and grinder??

The ladder is an Little Giant "Xtreme", awesome ladder.

I use an LEM grinder.

Thanks everyone. He sent it to the taxidermist near me and will be patiently awaiting it's return until Christmas! I explained that not every buck looks like that and he says he understands, but we will see! haha!
