I did get out over the weekend on my little mule and take the hounds for a couple lion hunts. Bear pursuit is a week away and the dogs need to get alittle more legged up before I get too serious on bears.
Struck a lion on Saturday around 9:30 AM and all seven dogs went to workin it giving voice with a few bawls and chops but the track didn't move very well. I did get off and video the trail scene for future use but pulled the dogs after half a mile or so--way tooo slow. However, I put a dozen miles on the mule Sunday and a little less on Saturday, so the dogs surely got double that.
For those wondering, I didn't go old west on you as the mini-mule I'm talkin about is my 660 Griz, roflmao. Yall keep'em treed.
