Though to be fair... the first WY wolf management plan: "So what we gonna do is... we're gonna surround Yellowstone with claymores and give ranchers the triggers, and then just in case those SOBs get through, we found this great youtube video about how to dig burmese tiger pits... so like we are gonna do that, and if all that doesn't work then...."

It was the same plan that we have now...but I agree with your assessment.
