I know bird photos are not very exciting, but it's what I do. :D The four-legged critters have not been very cooperative lately.

This is typically what I see. BTW, two bulls that are obviously going to be spikes, but look at the size difference in their bodies!

Long range.

Lots of guys about this size running around. Haven't seen anything big.

Leaving this afternoon for a few more days in the hills. Hopefully the critters are a little more cooperative.

Nice pics bird-nerd....er...Terry, your job don't exactly suck either.

Have you seen one of these before?

I have a few of them around my place.

Cool pics. That owl photo is pretty sweet, he must be decked out in the new Optifade pattern.

Awesome pictures, took me forever to spot that owl.

Has to be one of the fastest spreading exotic species? A few years ago they were non-existent here. Now they are everywhere. I think it was in 2006 that I had a first county record for them in one of our northern counties. Now they are all the way to Canada, eh? ;)

What are they? There is one living at my grandmother's house, very annoying cry mixed in with dove like sounds.

So I should shoot it?

Read your regs. ;)

An exotic species with a season on them. Doesn't make much sense.

Plus the male is really annoying. With that cry/scream he does, it reminds of a ex GF when she didn't get her way. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

On the calendar for Sept 1st.

PS I will buy the GPS coords to those big bulls:D

Miller, seeing more and more collared doves everywhere in SW Idhao. Selfishly I hope the number blow up!

Here's a buck to go with your bull, Dink.

Check out the antler growth on this poor dude. Crappy photo from long range, but I had to get a shot of this. Must be pretty uncomfortable.

Thanks for the share on the pics Oak. Looks like your work has been much more fun than mine the last two weeks...

We've had the ECD in the NE corner of UT since at least 2006. BOY dumped quite a few in So. ID last year.

I'm keeping the coordinates for this one. ;)

Poor photo due to distance and heavy rain. How wide?
