More "Illegals" Problems for Sportsmen

Our Southern Arizona Hunting units are being overrun now more than
ever.
The flood of people coming here for amnesty in the past couple of
months has
doubled. I have just returned from some of the border units, and am
sickened by what i see. Areas that we cleaned up just a month ago at
our
last cleanup are already worse than before. The destruction to the
habitat
and wildlife is enormous. We picked up over 25,000 pounds of trash at
our
last cleanup and had over 120 volunteers show up.

Now is the time to stand up and fight for our hunting areas, our
wildlife
habitat, and our wildlife. Senator McCain is now throwing out Amnesty,
and
the amount of illegal aliens coming thru our southern AZ units is
doubling
and even trippling in some cases. Please take time out of your busy
schedule to call our 2 senators, John McCain and Jon Kyle. Tell them
to to
do whatever it takes to stop the flow of illegals thru our precious
desert
habitat.

Bumper stickers might just be a good communication tool for you to learn from. That is good if you are able to best identify your learning style.

MM Sandi Dujean and Chapter Leader Hank Fields have come up with a plan to clean up a major lay-up area found just West of Lake Pleasant in Maricopa County, NW of Phoenix. This is described as one of the largest lay-ups Ive seen to date. This is your invitation to come join with fellow MCDC MM and other volunteer organizations that day in hopes to clean up our spectacular deserts. Morgan City Wash – Illegal Immigration Area Cleanup Project:



Date of Event: Saturday, May 20, 2006. 8:00AM until Sunset.



Location: Morgan City Wash (Highway 74, approximately 0.6 mi. West of milepost 18, approximately 1.5 miles West of Lake Pleasant)





Event Details:



Description: This area has been devastated with garbage left from an illegal immigration, coyote smuggling operation. The land is BLM controlled, and the BLM is in full cooperation with this event. Size of the area is about 4 acres, up a desert wash. BLM has been able to clean up approximately 40% of the debris (400 man hours of labor, four 40 foot dumpsters full of garbage), and is now depleted of funds to pay for workers to finish the area. Our event is planned to complete the cleanup.



Permit Status: BLM has approved the date, and the permit is applied for and in process.



BLM Sponsorship: BLM has agreed to supply the following for the cleanup: contractor supplied dumpsters, garbage bags, porta potties, lunches, and workers comp coverage for all volunteers.

Anyone else want to get in and split it up in thirds or fourths? Personally i am sick of seeing this guy type like anything other than an American. He sure cares nothing about our borders, and national security.
But count me in for half at least.

I didnt vote that idiot into office.

Theres no question that the border is a mess, the trouble is though, us griping and cleaning up the mess isnt even a band-aid on the problem.

Heres another nice tidbit...I say Bush and his ridiculous homeland security branch of new government are taking opportunities away from us as hunters.

On my recent trip to Arizona I went to a training on how to avoid border problems while working in the Ft. Huachuca (sp?) area. The Forest Service District Ranger told us that since the increased border partrol presence, the flow of people through the WILDERNESS areas down there has increased greatly. The border patrol does a bang-up job where they can drive...but they pretty much ignore wilderness and rough country (some of what USED to be the best hunting)....

That was nice to know that wilderness and the best hunting spots are being over-run and trashed.

The sad part of all of it...Bush doesnt care any more about MY wilderness areas down there than he does stopping illegal immigration.

Just a dog-and-pony show to pretend like he does so he can say "see, I'm doing something"...BFD if it does no good and in some cases more harm.

What a joke.

Buzz just naturally has a bad attitude.. I don't believe I've ever read anything he wrote that was complimentary to anything. That's ok though. Some folks are just like that.

As for Ol'Hoser.. He must think he's smarter than everyone but me. He won't rebut a single thing I've written since I asked him "what part of illegal isn't against the law?" He never did answer that..

Buzz, i agree with a lot you say but Bush is screwing himself and the republic party. I voted for him, and am sorry i did but i still think he is better than the other guy..... To tell the truth, my next vote will go to whoever has the toughest stance on immigration and border control even if the guy is an anti he will get my vote. This problem is more important than hunting because it involves out future and our kids.
On the other hand, you guys in AZ need to post more pictures of the mess and damage left down there because this is the perfect time to raise some eyebrows while it is a hot topic all over the country. Dont be surprised if your pictures make mainstream news and internet email forwardings. I wish i had some pictures to send out now!! if anyone has eny please email them to me. [email protected]
