Is it to be expected or should we ban hunting?
When I walked up to the moose my son had shot the first thing I noticed was the damage he did to the sage brush around him.

That big guy had the nerve to tip over and thrash the sage all around him ,more damage then an out of control ATV.
All I could think of was the "sportsman issues at hunt talk "LOL

Did he leave a 300 yard trail up a hill which will become a deep washout permanently scarring the landscape?

Actually I'd like to see a picture of the moose

Nemont,Dang you, I though no one would notice that ,but I have to admit it now the 300 yard washout came from my lazy fat ass when I tripped and rolled down the hill while packing that puppy out.

MD4ME,

I think you miss the point. I didn't say you used an ATV to retrieve. You are comparing the damage done by a bull moose to that which an ATV can do.

Sorry if it was too deep of a comment for you. For you to say wildlife damaging the landscape around them is the same as ATV inflicted damage it so crazy I thought you had to be joking. Soooo I threw out a smart a@@ comment. Apparently you weren't joking and actually believed what you posted.

I have never, ever not once mentioned atv accidents and helmet wearing but can understand others concerns in that department when it comes to your logic and posts.

WOW Nemont, are you Ithaca in drag or what!!!!!!!!!

OK real slow now,I WAS JOKING ,get a grip dude.

MD, Can't you leave your snide little remarks about me out of your posts? You know you only started this topic to stir up trouble. Nemont is right, your logic is so irrational almost all the time nobody really knows if you're serious or not. Unfortunately, you usually are.
