Anyone ever gone? Thinking about giving it a go this year...

Yeah, I have a new rifle I need to test out before I head to Alaska. Thinking it will be next week sometime before I get to go, but I am going. Also have about ten pounds of winter lard I need to lose, and spring bear seems to help with that.

Oh ya, can't wait until Saturday morning. I am going to go snowshoeing all over heck and back and not see a dang thing. But by gosh, I have a tag, a season, and a will to try.

Thinking there will be very few days for me this year. htis past week of juggling kids schedules with baseball and softball, i'm pretty much screwed for bear time.

I get all twitchy around opening day and always end up going. It takes me about ten minutes to realize it's still winter and I don't go again till may. I'm guessing it will be easier to swallow this year because of the fuel prices!!!

You'll have a blast cadman! To me bruins are totally captivating and I love to hunt/observe them even if I don't drop the hammer on them.

Wish I could get out to Montana for spring bear.Instead, I'm taking the family to Disney,but I may disappear for a day of hog or gator hunting.My kids love this trip,and it gets me points for my western hunts.good luck to all you guys chasin bears

The chocolate in the first needs more photos In fact what time do I need to be over to take a better look at both of them. Pretty open this week.

I think the black one is quite a bit bigger than the brown one, and way closer to the trailhead. My buddy forgot to buy his tag on time, so I`m shooter tomorrow.
