I found an interesting report last week. PL/PW 2013 Report. I didnt see it posted here, so sorry if it is a duplicate. Look forward to 2014's. There is some interesting data in this report.
Not to boast, being from Region 3, but clearly these landowners know how to work this program down here. According to the statistics and map on page 13, Region 3 had 99 Cooperators, utilizing 548,971 acres, involving 83 BMA's for total Landowner Payments of $624,145. Doing the math, that means the average paid to each cooperator here is $6304.49. The average cost per acre is $1.14. Not counting Region 1 where hardly anything is involved, the next highest region for cooperators average dollar is R4 with $4456.36. For acre is R5 with $0.82.
