Anyone have experience with Minox riflescopes? I see some guys like them but nobody I know has given them a shot. Looks like a person can get open box/demo 3-9 scopes for about $125...might be worth putting on a loaner/truck gun.

Randy11 has one. I bet he will fill you in.

Yeah, I got this version as a hand me down from a fellow HuntTalker- http://www.amazon.com/Minox-66410-Rifle-Minox-Plex-Reticule/dp/B00I2OM298

It's a really nice scope, especially at that price. I recently bought a 2.5-8x36 vx3 and compared the two. I had a hard time seeing any clarity advantage for the Leupold. The Minox isn't quite as streamlined and aesthetically pleasing as a leupold, but it is very functional. I do like the rubber grip for the power adjustment.

This is the only one I've had so I can't speak to their entire line, but if they're consistent with this scope I'd think they'd be a much better buy in that price range than something like a Vortex, Nikon or Bushnell.

Nice Ruger, Randy. Mine kills Pronghorn quite nicely as well. She's a beaut.

As far as Minox goes, I've got an older one on my 17 HMR. No complaints at all.
