Yeti GOBOX Collection

Meet my Family....

Kids are great, and its nice to see your enjoying yours. Now wait till you have grandkids....they are the greatest. WE have two Kelsey and Jordan. Kelsey spends more time with us, Jordan is overlyprotected by her parents, and nothing we can do about that.

Kelsey being Pappy

Kelsey on her 3rd Birthday at our camp in Pennsylvania, that was this year.

She loves to read (even tho she can't) she grabs 8-10 books, throws them on Pappys lap and crawls up. She then picks the order in which I will read them to her. Recently she has decided that she will read to me, every story starts with "Once a time", then using the pictures in the book, some of the things she remembers from that particular book, she will make up the story. If you interupt her for any reason, you get a look of disgust, a big sigh, a finger to your lips to indicating your to be quiet then after another sigh she starts over "Once a time".
She likes to help Nana in the kitchen, the dishwasher and her are best friends. She is always loading it, or unloading it, or starting it, even if it doesn't need started. If I put my coat on she grabs hers, and off we go, I can't go anywhere without her when she is around. Sometimes its a hassel, but I always take her.
Jordan is a different story, she is two and her parents have never left her side. They are to overprotective, the only person that Jordan plays with is Kelsey, but that has to be indoors. Jordan might get dirty being outside, or get a bitten by a bug, or god forbid fall down. Yea, I resent the way they treat her.

Cool stuff Oscar. I agree with ya Whiskers...am lucky enough to have my seven grandchildren here close-by. Affords us a weekly snuggle fix.

CJCJ, I do have 5 kids... just one isn't out of moms "tummy" yet ;)

I know I'm gonig to like Grandkids too, but I want to live a few more years doing crazy stuff before I get to that age ;)

Sorry, I thought you had a little girl already:)

I just became "Grandpa" last week....But I am NEVER going to stop having fun and enjoying life....Its kinda cool [ grandpa].....we love our little [ Ann-Marie]hump

Oscar,

I have to ask: Did your wife ever work for CH2M Hill? Like back in the early/mid 90's? She sure looks like a Vicki I worked with there, though I was only there a few weeks (intern).

Good looking bunch of kids. You can sure be proud!

Matt aka shortside

Shortside, Yah, She and I both worked there. She then went to CSHQA after Chum-hill. I went on to Forsgren Associates. I let her retire after she was 28 though. Something about paying more in Daycare then she made. It made the decision pretty simple ;)

Holy smokes. I ate lunch with you guys way back then! We used to walk to a pizza place a few blocks from the office on payday, and every once in a while she would come with. I worked with a guy named Mike that hailed from Sitka Alaska, (I sure wish I could remember his last name), and was hired to work on a couple of Montana projects. Mike left for a structureal job with TrusJoist, I think, and a lot of the others got hosed by a change in policy that made a lot of people "Independent Contractors" if I recall.

Small world. We gave her a pretty good ration, and she could sure give it right back!

I interviewed with Rod L. at Forsgren before I went into Grad School, and had offers in Biose, but now I am in Missoulapolis, a minor ownder at a small firm, and I'm a PE in Montana and Alaska.

Like you two, my wife and I are herding kids, paying on our house and generally taking it in the shorts from Obama...

Take care,
Matt Ulberg

Mike Collins would be his name. He still works for TrusJoist.. Or T.J.McMillan, or Wearhauser.. whatever it's called now :)

Would you know Chris Beus as well ? That was the guy in the office with the mullet. We were both Cadd Opporators. Look in our Oryx post to see his picture. He's cut his hair unfortunatley a few years ago when he started having kids. I guess kids like to pull hair ;)

I'm bad with Names so Forgive me for not remembering. She stayed there after I left for awhile so Maybe I was gone at that time. I'm sure if I saw your picture I'd remember. Post one up. Vicki Worked with Reed Armijo on all the Montana Signs projects and that kept her pretty busy. Although taking care of the Kids all the time get's old...I don't think she'd ever go back to those days :p

One guy I remember back i nthe day was a Very large guy that was funny as Heck. I can't remember his name but he said that when he goes out he tells the girls that his name was Sam Owens. So if the night goes bad and he has to hit her, when she tells the cops who it was she would say it was a fat Samoen. Funny dude, that wasn't you, was it ;)

Chris Bues! Yeah, that was a classic mullet! Reed was the son of a Prof. at MSU in Bozeman, and that is how I got the job. I still see Reed on occasion, though he is in Jackson Hole (ick) nowdays.

Here is a pic or two of me online:

I am 5'6", and think I am funny.... Sam Owen is a good cover, but the more likely story for be would be the 8th dwarf!

If the cops are looking for me, I would just hide next to the yard gnomes in someones yard!

Matt
