So last winter I finally got my .260 Remington barrel and the .280 Remington stuff to put together.
The model 10 action I had is set up as a prs style with a MDT XRS chassis.
Two weeks ago I came across a decent deal on a Model 11 rifle and snagged it.
I really liked the B&C Alaskan I got on the rifle I got from @JLS …
Enough so I opted for one for the .260 Remington… they don’t make the Alaskan for savage, but they do make an M40 Tactical/Varmint stock.
But the most reasonable option was actually an M40 clone style. Partly because it’s got a long 14.25” LOP.
Rifle weighs in at 10lb 8 oz.
So now I’m considering finding a M40 replica scope for it.
I’m really excited to see where this leads.
