As I start to get serious about planning and options for 2019, I reflected back and realized how much I enjoyed this past year. Thought I would share some photos, since I derive so much entertainment and inspiration from the photos and stories of those active on this site.
Each year I put my group ( self, wife, daughter - and in 2018, my new son in law ) in for difficult Idaho draws for deer, elk and antelope - hoping we will collectively draw at least one premium tag. In 2018, we drew one of each. As the fall approached, the initial elation morphed into feeling the pressure of needing to do justice to each one of these tags.
Chronological photo gallery of 2018:
I was also fortunate to take a Montana cow elk - on a quick hunt, needing to get back and focus on monitoring the rut and my daughters deer tag.
Here is to a great 2019 - best wishes to all.
