i have 3 Leupolds, one on my 338wm, my 300wm, and my Ruger SRH in .480,( the only scope that has held up to the recoil by the way). that being said, i also own 3 Vortex scopes, my 243, 270 & 30-06. Both brands have great customer service, i've never had a warranty issue with either brand, but have had questions and both helped me pick out the best scope for the money. couldn't tell you the difference in glass. my purchases and choices were made based on price at time of purchase, so in saying that, all my scopes were purchased while on sale, not because one was better than the other. either one would be a great choice!
