Ike/Cameron here are some of our Cali chase pics from an old thread:

One guy a little closer to you Cameron that used to run a pretty good pack is Sierra Guide Service.
Ike- you only get in trouble out here on treeing the kitties if you pull the trigger :( That being said, there are some places in the NE corner that your hounds would strike more cats than they would bear....unfortunately!

Thanks for the info MarvB, glad to hear they have a good attitude about accidental catches that far west. And that link you provided of hte hounds and truck were cool....those are some fine looking hounds and a serious looking bear rig!hump

Thanks for sharing Marv. I need to do some home work on license info for this state.

I dont realy want to use a guide service, just looking for someone to enjoy the woods with and chase a bear or two.

Where are you located Marv?

Cam- Up in the northern end of the state....Redding to be 'xact, but I have hunted the Sierra's a bit in the past.

Well Marv I dont get up that way too much any more. I used to travel through there a few times a year. Now that I have moved down here there isnt much need to head through there now. I think its about 8 hrs or so, not too bad for a weekend of hunting. I will up that way sometime this fall for turkey and again in the spring.
If you are ever down this way give me a hollar.

funny how things work out

Cameron,

Years ago I graduated college and moved to Glendale Arizona. While there, I took a job and worked for a short period of time before giving up the city life and heading north. I also had a brother-in-law living down there that moved north as well. Recently I learned one of my daughters is moving to....guess where?hump Yeah Arizona!|oo And I thought I was done that with place way back then.

Therefore, I can now see myself pulling a loadf of hounds down that way in the coming years....how grand!

keep'em treed!

LOL Ike...yup, but that being the case I'm sure there'd be plenty of us offering a hand down to get her back upright! ;)
