Not that this comes as a surprise to those of us who have been engaged with the American Land Council, one of the groups leading the charge to screw you out of your public lands, and have seen the manner in which they conduct themselves. I watched the bs video Fielder referred to last week, looked up the fires mentioned and found this Final Review Report. No one was discussing the video in the militia thread so I didnt post it at that time - Long Draw / Miller Homestead Fire Review Vale and Burns Districts April 2013.

It casts an entirely different view on the video Fielder promoted, kind of like that lying 18 year old's account of Finicum's death.

A good editorial from the Salt Lake Trib, the largest newspaper in the hotbed of this crazy idea. A very salient comment......

Half-baked legal theories being promoted include the idea that those who run cattle on public land have somehow earned an enforceable claim to own the territory. No such law or court ruling exists. Without it, these few cattlemen are like people who have rented a house for several years asserting that they now own the building.

That article was linked to one of the ALC's Facebook posts yesterday. Last night I commented below the link, "That's weird. You mean these guys aren't on the up-and-up." This morning the post that contained the link was gone, along with my response, and I have been locked from commenting on their FB page. They're apparently only interested in an echo chamber.

She's part of the issue related to elk management. You should see the crazy bills she brings relative to wildlife.
