I'm surprised somebody with your SAT scores couldn't explain to CJ what is wrong with the Grand Canyon, and why we need Kerry's leadership to fix many of the problems in the West that have been neglected for the past 3 years.

Hey CJ, do you take exception to Kerry's statement in your original post, about Dubya neglecting the Canyon? Do you think the Canyon is better off now than it was 3 years ago?

What about his efforts in turning the operations over to private contractors?

Hey CJ, your back!! Haven't seen you around for a while. Haven't seen myself around for a while either! Good to see you are still telling it like it is. The Grand Canyon is broken? That's funny, I have been there 3 times this year and it didn't look broken to me. All the water behind Glen canyon has been a godsend considering the drought we are in. And the park itself has never been cleaner or better maintained. But what do I know? I only live in Arizona and visit the canyon routinely. Maybe Kerry and his followers visit and know the canyon more than anyone else. Saying Bush has anything to do with the Grand Canyon is idiotic. The canyon has been there millions of years but somehow the last 3 have broken it? Geologists have proven that a massive landslide created a dam bigger than Glen Canyon hundreds of thousands of years ago. Eventually the Colorado eroded and washed the dam away. If that didn't "break" the canyon then I seriously doubt that a dam that amounts to 1/100000 of a second in geologic history will.

If you look real closely you can see where it is broken!

It begs the question. Who is more of a fool? The Fool (Kerry) or the fool (insert name from above here) who follows him?

Personally I can't stand Bush or Kerry. But neither one is more responsible for "breaking" the Grand Canyon than making it.

There I was RIPPING through the grand canyon when I hit a bump (those greenies make one hell of a speed bump ) I hear a yell and something goes flying in the air ,as I turn my head to try to see what it was -------all I could see was my big fat ass on my ATV

Hey Cfree, glad to hear from ya [where you been hiding?] Great post! and beautiful pic`s of the run down "broken" canyon, i have hiked the canyon many times in my younger days bright angel,kaibab trails ,phantom ranch, havasupi falls etc. the people who i have talked to that still hike it say it is as gorgeus as ever, the only thing is now you have to make reservations to hike it[overpopulation]? but other than that it looks like its the same old canyon, Chaser i like the piece sign on the tree, HA,HA dam hippies. Later boys i`m heading up to Payson for a few days.
