Kayla Lyons sighted for Fishing License Violation

Appears it may have been an honest mistake. Bad optics, but probably not the most nefarious director behavior discussed on this forum.

IMO the director of the DNR is held to a higher standard. I am sure that her excuse is valid and could happen to anyone. I’m glad she self reported, if she truly did.

One of the reasons I carry tangible licenses even when digital options are available. But, I still don’t see this as a torch-and-pitchfork situation with the info provided.

Some other high profile folks would be gutted around here. But, good for her. mtmuley

Sounds like she had the option of a warning but chose to make an example of herself. It should buy her some political brownie points. That's okay I guess. I have been in this same boat. Identity theft a couple of years ago and had to have all my cards and accounts changed. One automatic bill payment was overlooked.
