It doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but then we look into the case a weee bit further. Kayla Jean Lyons is the Director of the Iowa DNR. I bet that Conservation Officer won't get a favorable review this year.

IMO the director of the DNR is held to a higher standard. I am sure that her excuse is valid and could happen to anyone. I’m glad she self reported, if she truly did.Appears it may have been an honest mistake. Bad optics, but probably not the most nefarious director behavior discussed on this forum.

One of the reasons I carry tangible licenses even when digital options are available.
