Just found this website. Man I wish I had found this before I went to Kansas the first time. I have hunted the early muzzleloader the last two years and get to go back this year. The public hunting is so different in the west. I live in the deep south and public land is plentiful ,but really crowded. I asked a manager of a Kansas wildlife area if it was crowded for early muzzeloader and he said oh yes there are at least 20 hunters on the place . I have seen a total of 5 other hunters in two years. Here is my 2011 Sept 8 pt and a friends 10 point. Sorry for the second picture it did not come out well. If you can notice the 10 pt was already all busted up in Sept. I know these don't hold a candle to the other deer I have seen on this site ,but we were proud of them.
