Lots of raffle prizes including a free pick of a fly rod from the Temple Fork catalogue. There are about 200 rods listed in the catalogue. Vendor and organization booths. Free parking behind the SUB and west Bronco Stadium lot.

From Idaho to the Olympics - Dave Tucker will take us on a journey with steelhead fly fishing and spey casting the Grande Rhonde in Oregon & rivers on the Olympic Peninsula, and fly fishing in central Idaho.
South Fork Snake River - Matt Woodard will report on the latest trends in the South Fork fishery and the work being done to help secure a strong native cutthroat population.

Tying Steelhead flies - Dan Hurzler, fin-chasers.com will present several tying patterns for steelhead fishing.
Steelhead fishing basics - Brent Sawyer Exodus Wilderness Adventures, will provide an overview to steelhead fishing in general, for beginners so a person will feel comfortable enough or have enough knowledge to get out and give it a shot. Topics will include: Overview of techniques; how to drift fish; bobber fish for steelhead; plugging; type of equipment needed; seasons and conditions for times of year.

The Basics of Fish Photography - Roger Phillips is the outdoors writer at the Idaho Statesman and he gets the opportunity to fish a lot of waters around Idaho. He will present a show on proper techniques when you want to take a photograph of the big one that didn't get away.
The Thoughts and Opinions of Idaho Anglers: Survey Results - Scott Grunder from Idaho Fish and Game will present the latest survey findings, information being used for the 2007-2011 fisheries management plan.

Drift boat fishing for steelhead - Norm Klobenatz of Riggins will present portions of his DVD and discuss the techniques used by the Steelhead guides. Norm's how to video can show you everything you need to know about Steelhead fishing out of a driftboat, and has some great fishing action as well!
South Fork Snake River - Matt Woodard will report on the latest trends in the South Fork fishery and the work being done to help secure a strong native cutthroat population. This is a repeat of Matt's 9:00 a.m.

Spey Rod 101 & steelheading the Salmon near North Fork - Lee Davison with CND Spey Underground will present an overview of spey rod design, manufacturing and most importantly their use, with some examples from the Salmon River.
Henry's Fork Update & Status - Steve Trafton of the Henry's Fork Foundation provides an overview of the fishery and conservation efforts.

Why Wild Salmon? History, current status, and potential future trends in Chinook Salmon - Russ Thurow presents research findings from the Middle Fork Salmon River (MFSR) in central Idaho, a system that supports one of the last remaining wild, indigenous Chinook salmon stocks in the Northwest.
Boise's backyard fisheries and the Atlanta Mine threat - John Robison & James Piotrowski will present the latest on what is happening with the proposed gold mine and potential threat to the North and Middle Fork Boise wild trout fisheries.

The Secret of getting kids into fishing - Clayne Baker and Kyle Letterlie (President of the Boise Valley Wooly Buggers youth fly fishing group, will present their stories on how to engage younger folks into the fishing pastime.
Protecting Resident Native Trout: A Case For A National Refuge System - Rick Williams will discuss the need for native fish refuges as tools for conserving and protecting declining native fish populations and their habitat.
3:30 p.m.
Salmon Recovery and 10-year anniversary of the 1997 Idaho Statesman Editorial - A Panel Discussion. The panel will be facilitated by Boise State University professor, John Freemuth, Senior Fellow at the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University.
